چکیده

Increased planting density, different types of thinning management, and the use beneficial microorganisms have been adopted as strategic tools in effort to increase crop yields a sustainable manner. This investigation evaluated growth production ‘Prata Anã Gorutuba’ banana ( Musa spp., AAB) under plant densities during two cycles semiarid region Minas Gerais, Brazil. Micropropagated plantlets were also inoculated with endophytic bacteria cultivated part mat management strategies. Planting density varied between 1,680 3,920 ha–1. During experiment, water was less than optimal because rationing due drought region. Under field conditions, there no difference bacterially non-inoculated plants. The dense system increased cycle. highest-density treatment (3,920 ha–1) resulted highest yield first cycle, but net income observed. However, high-density treatments gross incomes second Management plants up 10-months-old harvest associated high length cycles. Although restriction experienced cycles, vegetative productive traits did not compromise objectives this study.

Endophytic bacterial diversity in banana ‘Prata Anã’ (Musa spp.) roots

The genetic diversity of endophytic bacteria in banana 'Prata Anã' roots was characterized. Two hundred and one endophytic bacteria were isolated, 151 of which were classified as Gram-positive and 50 as Gram-negative. No hypersensitivity response was observed in any of the isolates. The rep-PCR technique generated different molecular profiles for each primer set (REP, ERIC and BOX). Fifty reada...

Development of the banana plants 'Prata Anã' and 'FHIA-01' under the effect of paclobutrazol applied on the soil.

Under some cultivation conditions, excessive growth of the pseudostem of banana plants can be considered a limiting factor, and thus, the use of growth regulators can constitute a valid alternative. This work aimed to evaluate the action of paclobutrazol on the growth of the pseudostem of banana plants and other characteristics of their development. An experiment was installed with five paclobu...

Simulated warming shifts the flowering phenology and sexual reproduction of Cardamine hirsuta under different Planting densities

Climate warming can shift the reproductive phenology of plant, and hence dramatically reduced the reproductive capacity both of density-dependent and -independent plant species. But it is still unclear how climate warming affects flowering phenology and reproductive allocation of plant under different planting densities. Here, we assessed the impact of simulated warming on flowering phenology a...
